Law Ball Coordinator (1 post available)
As Law Ball Coordinator, you will be expected to oversee the preparations of the City Law Society’s Annual Law Ball. You will be required to delegate tasks to two Law Ball Assistants and finalise decisions made as a team. Tasks include scouting locations, meeting caterers, decorations, ticketing, guest lists, seating plans, music/DJ/Photographers, security, communicating budget/payment information to the Executive Committee.
You will be attending regular meetings and working closely with the Executive Committee to approve, finalise and carry out the Law Ball, as well as providing regular updates.
Time management and organisation skills are essential for this role. Candidates should have experience in planning large-scale events.
Law Ball Assistant (2 posts available)
This role requires you to work closely with the Law Ball Coordinator. Tasks include scouting locations, meeting caterers, decorations, ticketing, guest lists, seating plans, music/DJ/Photographers, security, communicating budget/payment information to the Executive Committee.

Blog Coordinator (1 post available)
Tasks include writing, editing, and reaching out to interested writers. You will be needed to upload posts on the blog minimum once a week, but could be more. You will be required to promote the blog and have commercial awareness as to the news and relevant content.
It is desired for candidates to have experience using Wix as this is what you will be using to upload the blog posts.
Blog Assistant (1 post available)
Tasks include writing, editing, and reaching out to interested writers. You will have to write per week/fortnightly depending on the Blog Coordinator’s deadlines. You will be required to promote the blog and have commercial awareness as to the news and relevant content.
You will be required to meet deadlines set by the Blog Coordinator as they will be uploading the blogposts.
Social Media (1 post available)
Tasks include updating Facebook, Instagram and Twitter regularly. Also may include creating content in collaboration with the Communications Officer.
This is a very on-the-go role, you might need to be updating/scheduling posts at random times, attending events and taking charge of the social media. Things you could be promoting include events, competitions, blog updates, important news events, etc.
Candidates must be creative, innovative, proactive. You might also be involved with the upcoming YouTube channel, so innovative ideas will be welcomed here too.
You will also be working closely with the Website Team to update and promote events regularly.
Website (1 post available)
Your main role is to update the website as and when required: Human of the Month, incoming team profiles, events, calendars, ticket links, etc. You will also be required to check the website’s inbox regularly. You will be provided with material most times, however, sometimes you may be asked to create your own material.
Candidates should have experience working with WIX (preferably) or any other website maker. Candidates will have excellent I.T. skills.
Events Coordinator (2 posts available)
We are looking for two co-coordinators in charge of scouting and putting together social and professional events. You will need to well together, as well as with the Social Media and Website teams. You will have to manage a calendar, organise events that are feasible, budget friendly, relevant and interesting to our members. Be able to handle logistics of events including room bookings, number of attendees, catering, microphones for speakers, speaker bookings etc. The ability to organise external events will also be required for this role.
It would be useful if you have a network of contacts that may be contacted for professional events.

We are looking for students from the following courses and academic years to become a Course Representatives:
LLB first year
LLB second year
LLB third year
All Course Representatives will purely be required to promote events and make announcements. They are not in any way required(very encouraged) to come to events, or attend meetings, but they will get an email/ whatsapp/sometimes flyers to hand out/ make announcements about. Those who want to be more involved are every much invited to do so. Most interaction will be with communications officer.
Joint Assistant (1 post available)
Assistant to President and Vice President. This role includes ad hoc tasks as and when needed, communication with other members of the Executive Committee and attendance of regular meetings.
Candidates must be proactive, organised and have excellent time management skills.
